How We Help

No More Surviving on SNAP

7.5% of the veteran population, approximately 1.2 million veterans live on incomes below

the poverty level and rely on SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) to feed

their families. When you dedicate your life serving your country yet find yourself living

below poverty, it begs the question of, WHY?

At the VETEM Foundation, it begins with housing.

No Hero Left Behind

Military healthcare professionals are always on the alert, always remaining ready for the
next patient in need, and acting without hesitation.
They are the quiet superheroes, going about their duties without hesitation and without
regard for their own lives yet never receiving the accolades they deserve. They deserve it all.
At the VETEM Foundation we are dedicated to ensuring that these heroes are economically
never left behind.

No More Financial Insecurity

75.5% of our military, veterans, and families carry large amounts of debt. These are the
boots on the ground arms of the military who gets deployed for long durations. Many
come from low income or broken families and joining the military was a means to a better
life. Many unfortunately become unemployed after their tours. Many get divorced and
become homeless. They deserve more for their unselfish sacrifices.
We at VETEM Foundation is steadfast in our mission to provide better economic lives for
these heroes.

No Hero Left Without a Home.

Military housing is a national epidemic and a security concern as the stability and readiness
of our military forces are intimately linked to their housing and financial concerns.
Department of Veterans Affairs, 2020 VA Newsletter: Our military needs 38,000
permanent housing.
The VA to date had only managed to build 600 of the 38,000 housing units, highlighting
the severity of the problem. The VETEM group innovative housing program is a viable
solution to add to the VA housing dilemma
